Performance standards and guidelines
The performance standards are the statutory benchmark against which we assess the capacity of your organisation to become a registered Class 1 Social Landlord and to monitor your performance once registered.
All community housing providers (CHPs) capacity and performance are assessed and monitored to ensure they meet and continue to meet the following performance standards:
- Governance
- Management
- Financial viability
- Tenancy management
- Property and asset management.
Guidelines for meeting the performance standards
We’ve developed guidelines to help your organisation meet the performance standards:
- at the point of registration
- after registration, as part of ongoing monitoring.
You should read our guidelines when applying for registration, during annual monitoring and reporting, and if making a complaint or appealing our decisions.
